Aviation Experts to discuss accident prevention, airline performance optimisation on Nov 15

Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. is set to hold an Aviation Accident Prevention and Airline Performance Optimisation Conference jointly with FlightPath International Limited.

Already held in some other parts of Africa, the West African edition is slated for November 15, 2022 at the Holiday Inn Hotel Conference Room in Accra and is expected to attract stakeholders in the aviation space.

Addressing the media, Senior Director Investor Relations at Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd., Harmeet Gill said, “At the conference, Ghana is going to find out that there is a superior unique technology available and we’re bringing it to Africa.”

For his part, Executive Vice President of Flight Path International, Captain Jonathan Kordich believes the conference seeks to provide economic development to Ghana through the improvement of safety in the country’s aviation sector.

“Ghana’s tourism will reach a greater expansion level because you can assure the general public and visitors about coming to Ghana and there is safety but also industrial movement of land, marine and air because this capability is not only applicable to aeroplanes; we have the same technology that is going on train, buses, ambulances, marine vessels, etc. that gives the same capabilities as we have developed in the aerospace industry.” He said.

The presentation will be carried by Star Navigation Systems: Canadian State-of-the-Art OEM of Hardware and Software in Aviation and Aero-Space Flight Sciences Equipment as well as FlightPath International; Canadian and EASA ATO – Engineering and Pilot Training from ab-Initio to Airline Operations.

Scope

The conference will focus on 6 major areas. The first scope will comprise Aircraft Flight Sciences Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

The second scope will deal with Real-Time all Aircraft Systems and Cockpit Health Monitoring from Power ON to Power OFF.

Satellite Sensory Equipment with Real-Time Data Alerts transmits will be captured in the third scope.

Meanwhile the fourth scope of the conference will focus on Recognition of Aircraft Systems Status with early Safety Preventative Actions.

Integration of Systems from Basic Aircraft to Airline Operations is the major highlight under the fifth scope whereas the Sixth is premised on Global Airborne Distress Safety Systems – GADSS ICAO Requirements.

The West Africa Aviation Accident Prevention and Airline Performance Optimisation Conference is in collaboration with the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB) and on the theme, “Human Factors VS Technology.”
