The Church of Pentecost has laid down some conduct of rules for its members.
According to COP, true Christians must be chaste before and during marriage. Therefore, members who engage in premarital and extra-marital affairs will get suspended or withdrawn from the Church.
“Marital fidelity and chastity before and during the marriage are the hallmarks of a true Christian and are, therefore, strongly urged upon every child of God. Premarital and extramarital relationships have no place in the Church of God; members found in such relationships should be punished by suspension and/or withdrawal from fellowship.”
The Church also cautioned its members to be honest in their businesses and transactions and also not to engage in selling products such as alcoholic drinks and cigarettes that are harmful to the health, mental, and spiritual life of people.
“In your business, endeavour to make all your dealings and transactions Bible-based, honest and transparent (Prov. 16:8; 21:6; 22:13,16; Jer. 17:11; 22:13). A true child of God should not deal in items known to be detrimental to the spiritual, mental and physical health of others, e.g., alcohol, cigarettes and narcotic drugs.”
However, the Church of Pentecost advised its members to make the Church their spiritual home, love and help one another and study the bible diligently.
