Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Doctor Nyaho Tamakloe has revealed that, the club’s forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been dodging them.
Afriyie Barnieh was a member of the the Black Stars squad that got eliminated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar but he has yet to return to the Phobian fold.
The former Madina Republicans forward has also refused to renew his contract as it sets to expire at the end of this month.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was the captain when the national U-20 male team, the Black Satellites lifted the 2021 CAF Africa U-20 tournament in Niger.
He is also a member of the Championship for Africa Nations team that is preparing for the 2023 CHAN Tournament in Algeria.
Doctor Nyaho Tamakloe has revealed that they have not had the chance to sit with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to talk co tract issues.
“We have not even had the opportunity to sit down with him. Whenever you call him he’ll give an excuse and because he gets invited to the national teams he’ll tell you that we are going here and when we come back I’ll sign.”
