First reshuffle: Otiko out, Oppong Nkrumah for Information Ministry

Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba is the first causality in President Akufo-Addo’s maiden reshuffle, Adomonline.com can confirm that.

Deputy Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has been made substantive Minister whiles Mustapha Hamid has been moved to the Zongo Development Ministry.

According to sources at the presidency, there is likely to be a change at the Health Ministry where Hon Kwaku Agyemang Manu is and the Minister.

Minister for Aviation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah has been moved to the Ministry of Sanitation.

John Peter Amewu will have a responsibility to bring some calmness at the Energy Ministry which has suffered a lot of heat over the last few days.

It remains to be seen who will be posted to the Lands and Natural Resources Ministry where Amewu was engaged in a war with illegal miners.

Meanwhile, the Trades Minister Alan Kyeremanten is also likely to be moved to the Health Ministry.

The President is expected to make the list public by close of today August 8, 2018.
