SHS/SHTS students are allowed to participate in a limited voter registration drive for four days by GES.

GES is giving SHS students who are eighteen years of age or older four days to participate in the upcoming limited registration exercise.

The exercise is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 7 May 2024 and ends on Monday, May 27 2024.

According to the Electoral Commission, the exercise will be conducted at its district offices and difficult-to-access electoral areas across the country.

“The students have been granted four days off from campus, effective, Tuesday, May 7 2024 to Friday, May 10 2024 to partake in the exercise in line with the constitutional right of all Ghanaian citizens to exercise their franchise,” a statement by Mr Prince C. Agyemang-Duah acting Director Schools and Instruction Division said.
