AFCON 2019 Qualifiers: Black Stars hold first training session [photos]

The Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session yesterday on Tuesday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as part of preparations for Saturdays Afcon 2019 qualifier against Kenya.

Head coach Kwesi Appiah supervised the session which saw 16 players participate.

Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu, and Ebenezer Ofori joined the team late and are expected to be part of today’s training session.

Harrison Afful is expected to join the team today.

The team will hold a double session on Wednesday at 10:00 and 15:30 and then a morning session on Thursday at 9:00.

Appiah’s men will then depart for Kenya at 16:00 later on Thursday.

The game is scheduled to come off on Saturday at The Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi at 13:00 local time.
