Self-acclaimed Ghanaian Dancehall King, Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah appears to be getting on the nerves of some Ghanaians over his genres of music.

The musician during his REIGN album tour in Kumasi revealed that his music which is meant to make Ghanaians drown their sorrows is not being noticed just because of the suffering they are undergoing in the current Akufo-Addo led administration.

He said “this time I’m even releasing more songs but people are not even aware. I’m just trying to make people take their minds off certain things”.

Shatta added that although he has tried to create controversies to get people focused on him and the entertainment industry, Ghanaians do not seem to care because everyone is thinking of how to make ends meet in a difficult system.

“I’m trying to put controversial stuff in the industry for Ghana to be interesting but the country is becoming hotter and hotter each and every day”.

But callers and texters on Accra-based Hitz Fm on Monday afternoon were not charitable to him with their choice of words indicating he is not creative enough to bring out songs they like.

Most argued why Ghanaians are enthused with the music of the others wondering if they live in Pluto with discussants concluding he needs to up his game or lose his relevance in the industry.
