Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu has blamed the “dead” movie industry for the death of his colleague Abass Blinks.

The Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Buah said Abass lost his life after he was stabbed twice by the brothers of his master when he was settling a fight between them and his master’s wife.

Abass gave up the ghost as he was being rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for treatment.

But reacting to the news of the death of his colleague, Kwaku Manu noted that of the movie industry was as vibrant as it used to, Abass wouldn’t have died because he would have been on set working.

He indicated that his death is a big blow to the industry because Abass was not just an actor but also a makeup artiste.

He called on his colleagues to be careful because the devil has its ways of manipulating people as we gradually walk into the festive season.
