Veteran actress, Grace Omaboe known popularly as Maame Dokono has admonished young ladies giving themselves to me before they can feed to desist from it and build a life for themselves.

According to her, it’s imperative that young ladies work to have independent lives because that’s the only way to live a fulfilled life and not when your next meal depends on a man’s pocket.

Maame Dokono said while she was young, she had a number of men on her back but she worked at being independent in order not to depend on men for a living.

“I would’ve owned many properties if I was a Slay Queen in my heydays because I had a lot of men coming my way,” she told Accra-based Angel FM on a show monitored by MyNews.

Maame Dokono said she single handedly built her own house and that is what a woman should do rather than depend entirely on a man’s pocket.

On female celebrities who are pompous just because they are currently popular, she asked that they take advantage of their popularity to build a life for themselves and stop being pompous and choosy.
