The New Patriotic Party’s member of Nhyiaeso constituency in the Ashanti region Dr. Stephen Amoah has stated categorically that he is amazed by the brilliance displayed in parliament by MP’s of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
Dr. Amoah made this known while granting an interview with Kumasi-based Pure FM. According to the former CEO of Microfinance and Small loans center had he not been in parliament, he would have carried on with what he described as an erroneous impression that NDC MP’s are empty for the sake of scoring cheap political points.
” Kwame, If I hadn’t been to parliament, I wouldn’t have known that the NDC MP’s are brilliant. You know for the sake of political expediency we say all manner of things but you know my honesty in matters like these. If you take Ato-Forson or Issac Adongo, Kwame, these are people with depth knowledge. You can see they understand what they do and I think it’s fair to say that.” He said
He stated further that he has to disabuse his mind from such assertion that NDC MP’s are not brilliant having worked with some of them.
