Captain Smart has continued his demonstration against bad governance and he claims he will do this until he is finally called. Captain Smart revealed that until the change that Ghanaians deserve is seen, he is not giving up on this movement to ensure that what belongs to Ghana goes to Ghanaians.
Captain Smart has revealed that seeing the age that Ghanaians find themselves, it is important that certain rules are changed for the betterment of the country at large.
During the fix the country demonstration which ended not long ago, many of the protestors were demanding a change in the constitution. And this change is not a change to benefit they, the demonstrators but the entire country.
Their dissatisfaction was regarding the fact that people in government especially do whatever they like and go scot free. Also, there are many illegalities that are allowed to go on because of the selfish decision of law makers which the constitution seems to overlook. If anyone stand up to these lawless form of governance, then i believe he can be the next president of Ghana- he added.
Captain Smart revealed that it takes a single person to effect change and he believes we will have the leader we are looking for one day. Because from what we’re seeing as a country, all that matters to politicians is wealth and comfort. Not knowing that their priority as officials of state is to make the lives of their people comfortable.
He thinks a change in some areas in the constitution will keep them in check and clump down this attitude leading to the poor state of the economy. I wish other parties up their game with more competent leaders because I know there are potential leaders out there. They should present potential candidates to contest- Captain further declared.
Captain Smart revealed that anyone with a better vision can run for the position and it shouldn’t always be two parties having the power in the country and disappointing the country. He believes things must change and people should end their love for political parties despite their disappointments. And that’s because there’s no importance in devoting yourself to these parties and suffering at the same time.
