British forces have returned artefacts looted several years ago to Ethiopia.

The artefacts including a Bible, crosses, and an imperial shield, were reportedly looted in 1868.

The Ethiopian Embassy in UK announced the return of the looted artefacts in a tweet sighted by African Entertainment.

African Entertainment understands that the Scheherazade Foundation bought the artefacts through a UK-based auction house and private dealers, before handing them over to the embassy.
