The South African Football Association has pledged to give free tickets to vaccinated fans for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier between South Africa and Ethiopia.
The match is scheduled to be played in October 2021.
South Africa’s national team, Bafana Bafana, recently won the Black Stars of Ghana 1 – 0 on home soil and are set to face Ethiopia.

According to the Association, fans who had been vaccinated would be prioritised at matches and other entertainment events.
An estimated 10 million people in South Africa have so far been vaccinated.
