The Northern Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, Mohammed Hafiz Bantima (Samba) has dolled out an amount of GHc720,000 to be disbursed amongst party executives in all 18 constituencies in the region.
Each constituency is expected to receive GHc40,000 for their tremendous contribution to party’s win the in 2020 elections.
Speaking at the Annual Regional Delegates Conference at Nyankpala in the Tolon District on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, Mohammed Samba said the gesture forms part of support to achieve the party’s “Break The Eight” agenda.
According to him, these executive played a pivotal role in the success of the NPP in the last elections and and the gesture is to recognize their hard work and preparation for the next task ahead.
“I am going to award you with happiness. What we should do to prepare the grounds to break the 8 years so that we can win the Sagnarigu, Tamale North, Savelugu, Tamale Central, Kumbungu constituencies and many others,” he stated.
He continued ““I want to prepare your minds to go back home and know that your solid Regional Chairman is behind you. You have delivered and you’re the same people I will take to war to win the 2024 elections, so that we can break the 8.”
