Initially, the 36-year old Ballon do’r winner was gradually enjoying the English football on his second spell in Manchester United after he left his former Italian team, Juventus. The Portuguese even had a brace of goals for himself on his second debut in his new team.

His UEFA Champions League goal scoring record is still intact as he has so far scored five goals in four appearances this season.

However, things are not going smoothly for the former Juventus’ player and his team. They have lost the confidence among themselves, especially in the defence as they keep conceding goals in almost all the matches played.

In the English premier league games, Cristiano Ronaldo, allowed his emotions to take over him in Manchester United’s defeats to two powerful rivals.

1. Against Liverpool; The Ballon do’r winner, fouled Curtis Jones of Liverpool two weeks ago following the five nil defeat suffered by his team.

Cristiano Ronaldo, was shown a yellow card for continuously kick the ball while Curtis Jones was on it. That was a way of expressing his emotions as his team suffered humiliation in the hands of Liverpool.

2. In the Manchester Derby; The Red devils of England were completely outplayed by their next door neighbours. Pep Guardiola and his team, came to Old Trafford and went back home with all three points.

They dominated the passes and possession, this let the anger out of Cristiano Ronaldo as his team couldn’t produce a goal and further resulted to why he fouled Kevin De Brunye at the 90th minute of the game. The Portuguese national was equally booked for such a violent attack on his opponent.

The all time top scorer in men’s international football, should learn to control his emotions otherwise he will definitely recieve a red card one day.
