Dampare Is The Only IGP Who Rejected A Protocol List From Gov’t Officials During Police Recruitment

Captain Smart has revealed on his Onua Maakye program on Onua Tv that the current IGP, Akuffo Dampare is the only IGP in the fourth republic to reject a list from government officials during the recent police recruitment process.

Speaking on the show, Captain Smart made it clear that whenever people want to get recruited in the police service, a protocol list is first sent to the IGP. The list contains names of persons he must consider first before others are recruited. He added that this IGP rejected the list several times because he wants to do such recruitment as expected of him and without any favouritism.

Captain smart also added that such list contains names of party members or youths who wants to join the police service. He heaped praises on the IGP because he is the only person to serve food to persons during the recruitment process and do things right in the recruitment process.
