There are nine strikers that have been invited by Super Eagles Interim manager Austine Eguavoen to prosecute the forthcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers Playoff against the Black Stars.

Unlike what happened in the build-up to 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon, all the strikers are now available for selection.

Out of the nine strikers that have been invited, there are five centre forwards as well as four Wingers.

The center forwards includes Emmanuel Dennis, Sadiq Umar, Odion Ighalo, Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho.

However, in this article, we would look at the center forward that Eguavoen might likely deploy between Sadiq Umar and Victor Osimhen.

The two strikers are currently among the in-form strikers in Europe at the moment.

Victor Osimhen in my opinion would be deployed to play ahead of Sadiq Umar in the center attack department. This is because Osimhen has scored a couple of goals than Sadiq in the national team.
