The Asantehene Otumfour Nana Osei Tutu II will visit the Black Stars ahead of their FIFA World Cup qualifying clash with Nigeria.
The Overlord of Asanteman will bless the team with his royal presence and offer words of counsel and encouragement as they prepare to face the Super Eagles in Friday.
Ghana will face Nigeria in the first leg of the affair at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before honoring the second leg away from home 4 days later.
The visit of the Otumfour is expected to be before the team’s final training session on Thursday.
The team had originally intended to visit the Great King at his Manhyia Palace but the development now is he will rather pay them the visit.
In a related development, Ghana will hold their final training session on Thursday which will be open to the media and public.
There will be a press conference before training which is expected to start at 5pm GMT.
