Before she agreed to marry the man, they had made an agreement that she would allow her to continue her education, but after marriage, the husband refused to honor the agreement. Shan George said that because she didn’t want to be an uneducated housewife, she left the marriage despite pressure from her mother.

Shan George then accepted at the University of Lagos, where she actually studied Mass Communication. Shan George made her very debut film when in her senior year. Shan George went on to become one of the most artistic Nollywood actors in history.
