This Is How Much British-Ghanaian Producer, Jae5 Charges For A Beat

Grammy Award-winning producer, Jonathan Kweku Awote-Mensah, known within he showbiz circles as Jae5 has revealed his charges for production.

The highly rated Ghanaian-UK based record producer and mixing engineer has made known what he charges to make a beat. Jae5 made this revelation through a series of post via his official social media page.

Jae5 who has over the years worked with heavyweights acts like Burna Boy, J Hus, Skepta, Dave, Rema, Koffee, NSG, among others shared some personal information about how much it costs to work with him.

Taking to his verified Twitter page, Jae5 revealed that, his production charges start from £25,000 (about 244,282 Ghana cedis), adding that he only charges British afroswing collective, NSG for less because the group is family to him. Screenshot below.

Jae5 went on to state that, he doesn’t keep all the money he charges, but he also pays the instrumentalists who work on the beats with him, hence the reason why he charges that high. See screenshot below.
