Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has served a gist of what he stands to offer, as he played and hit the net in a match between African legends and Eswatini legends.

Asamoah Gyan – after playing in that game – has had his picture trending as he aims to represent Ghana at this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The former Sunderland hitman came from the bench to score a goal for Africa legends despite their defeat to Eswatini legends.

Asamoah Gyan, 36, has indicated an intention of making it to 2022 Qatar World Cup as a player for Black Stars of Ghana. He explains the decision to play for Black Stars at the global football competition is borne out of what Roger Milla did for his country of origin, Cameroon, as he came out of retirement to play for them Senior National team at 1990 FIFA World Cup.
