Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, has diagnosed the challenge in prosecuting the galamsey kingpin, Aisha Huang.
Aisha Huang was recently arrested after she was deported four years ago for offences related to illegal mining (galamsey).
Security operatives detected her in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, engaging in her illegal mining business; arrested her and she has been remanded into Police custody by an Accra Circuit Court.
Her re-arrest has sparked controversies and discussions with people wondering what sort of power does this galamsey queen possess to be able to disregard the laws of Ghana.
The seasoned Journalist, Kweku Baako has revealed the reasons why Aisha Huang appears untouchable.
According to him, Aisha Huang is a very powerful woman having deep connections in President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government and erstwhile Mahama’s administration.
He stated that Aisha Huang was arrested and released three times by the previous administrations and the current administration is struggling to put her behind bars because “she’s built a network across the political divide”.
“She appears to be a very smooth operative . . . She’s got her agents placed in State institutions, particularly the security agencies, and she is able to wriggle herself out of danger or trouble any time she is touched. I hope it doesn’t happen this time round.”
Mr. Baako shockingly disclosed that Aisha Huang has sex videos and audio recordings of some State and security authorities, so, with the amount of dirt she has on the powerful men, she resorts to blackmail.
He further revealed that Aisha has accomplices, naming one Monica and another Chinese woman, who trade sex with these powerful men.
” . . they are powerful . . . You see part of their strength is that they resorted, they built up a certain system of blackmailing.”
“They have video and audio recordings of powerful people, of people who have been entrusted with responsibilities to protect us as a people. I’m telling you. That’s how dangerous the game is and that is where the strength, the power of these Chinese women are coming from.
“They have video and audio recordings of their conversations with some strategically placed persons from then and now and some they are having sex with or they have girls, some mainly Chinese, who they brought into town who sleep with these big men or big guys well placed. And they have them and they use it to blackmail our big men into submission. That’s how powerful they have become”, Kweku Baako said on Joy Newsfile.
