Men and women in the part of Krobo battle for survival after days of heavy Downpour resulting in flood and collapsing bridge that connects neighboring communities.

The Otorkpolu Bridge in the Krobo Land area on the Odumase to Asesewa highway has been partially submerged by water after continuous heavy downpour in the Eastern Region which has made it difficult for commuters vehicles to cross.

Men are seen carrying their women and those who can also swim trying their best to cross the deep water.

Services of canoes and other human assistance has been the only way out. All road users are hereby cordially adviced to plan their trips avoiding that stretch for their safety and convenience. Stay tuned for more updates.

Below are highlights from the Otorkpolu Bridge in the Krobo Land area on the Odumase to Asesewa highway as the bridge.
