Teiya
After several weeks in the TV3 house, the 2022 Ghana Most Beautiful is finally coming to an end.
Five contestants out of the 16 contestants made it to the finals. Among the 5 contestants is Northern Region’s representative, Dahamani Tun-Teiya.
The grand finale was held at the National Theatre in Accra on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
In the first round of their performances, Northern Region’s Teiya made a
strong case for Kayayei to be offered
help to curb the menace, which
has seen girls from the northern part
of Ghana travelling to the Southern part in search of greener pastures.
Teiya therefore stands to do everything within her capacity, in collaboration with stakeholders to curb the menace if she is crowned the queen.
Judge Linda Ampah congratulated
Teiya but advised her to start from the
north to prevent the girls from drifting
down south to engage on kaya.
Judge Janet Sunkwa-Mills praised
Teiya for involving the audience but
insisted that the trade by the girls
from the north is an economic activity
but they must be convinced to be
rehabilitated.
