Accra Hearts of Oak will face Malian club, AS Real Bamako in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Phobians will welcome the Malians to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday October 16 after losing the first leg by 3-0 in Bamako.

Hearts of Oak qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup after coming from a goal down to beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the MTN FA Cup.

Prior to that, they had won a domestic treble last two seasons but their continental campaign was a horrible spectacle.

They failed to reach the group stage of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup much to the chagrin of their fans.

One news that emanated from their camp was whether top forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh will extend his contract with the club.

News has it that he is expected to sign a one year extension until the end of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
