Despite not being selected for the final 26-man roster, injured Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott is anticipated to go to Qatar with his teammates for the 2022 World Cup.

Recall that Jojo Wollacott’s participation in the World Cup has been cancelled due to a recent finger fracture. The goalie was forced to withdraw from the team due to an injury, but he has offered to join his teammates in camp to aid in their preparation for the competition.

Reports sighted on credible websites in Ghana stipulate, the goalkeeper for Charlton Athletic will reportedly train with his teammates but won’t participate in the team’s World Cup campaign.

Essentially, the three goalkeepers for Ghana at the 2022 World Cup are Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Manaf Nurudeen, and Ibrahim Danlad.

Ghana will face South Korea, Uruguay, and Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup which begins in five days time. On November 17, the Black Stars will play a friendly match against Switzerland before the tournament.
