Ghana legend, Abedi Ayew “Pele” has urged his son, Andre Ayew to remain steadfast after a disappointing 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Andre Ayew wasted a penalty awarded to the Black Stars against Uruguay in their final group H game and in the process exiting the tournament with just three points from three games.

The Black Stars started their group game poorly after losing 3-2 against former European champions, Portugal.

Their second game was a better performance as against the first and the won the second game by 3-2 giving hope to the Ghanaian populace.

The team however shocked the entire nation by putting up a lackluster performance and eventually lost to old foes, Uruguay by 2-0.

That notwithstanding, Ghana legend, Abedi Pele and the father of Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew believes there is more to come for his son.

“It’s not over because when you’re down you know how to go higher to overcome your problems! Proud of you son💥. The Name is Ayew💗. Alhamduliliah”
