GFA Announces Transfer Window Opening Date

The Ghana Football Association has officially announced the dates for the opening of the transfer window for leagues in the Ghana Premier League.

In line with the international transfer window opening, the Ghana Football Association has acknowledged that it is important that it opens its doors for players who might have the chance to be transferred abroad and as such has given the dates for such transfers to be completed between the 1st January 2023 and 31st January, 2023.

The Ghana Football Association has also confirmed that clubs have between January 17 and February 10 to register players in the FIFA Connect system.

The statement said “All clubs are to take note and transfer their players through the ITMS/DTMS before the transfer deadline on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 and to register their players in the FIFA Connect when the registration window opens on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 and closes at 23:59pm on Friday, February 10, 2023.”
