Asante Kotoko Ugandan international striker Steven Dese Mukwala said he is aiming to win the goal king award in the ongoing betPawa Premier League competition.

The striker has scored three goals this season, having joined the Porcupines just before the start of the campaign.

Mukwala was on target for Kotoko on Wednesday as they came from behind to beat Berekum Chelsea 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi as the league resumed.

“I am happy to have scored the winner today, and it showed our collective effort in coming from behind to win this game,” Mukwala said after the game.

He added: “My aim for the season is to help Asante Kotoko win many titles and also win the goal king award at the end of the campaign.

The Ugandan will look to build on this performance going forward with Asante Kotoko looking to retain the league title they won last season as well as the FA Cup competition.
