The football industry is one of the strongest industries in the world. It is capital-intensive but boasts high revenues. Its impact on a nation is politically beneficial, socially beneficial and economically beneficial.

The Ghanaian Professional League – BetPawa Ghana Premier League is one that is not living up to its potential. This is a result of many factors but low stadium attendance by supporters is the biggest worry, especially in the case of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

According to sports journalist Super Obondede of Light Fm fame, low stadium attendance by the supporters of the porcupine warriors proves that Nana Yaw Amponsah has failed as CEO of Asante Kotoko.

To his best knowledge, since Nana Yaw Amponsah resumed office as CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, there has been a big gap between the supporters and management of the team. Thus, the supporters feel isolated reason why they have decided to back out.
