The yet-to-be-telecasted video of Anas Aremeyaw Anas involving Kwesi Nyantakyi and his partners in crime with respect to football and its related activities has taken a new twist.

A few days ago, the beleaguered Ghana Football Association boss gave his statement to the Police CID in which he stated that through his investors, former President Mahama became a huge beneficiary with a whopping sum of $8 million. That amount was to help the former President and his party to prosecute the 2016 campaign agenda.

This revelation has sent shockwaves down the spines of many Ghanaians as the National Democratic Congress adopted a holier-than-thou attitude when President Akufo-Addo was mentioned by Nyantakyi in the yet-to-be-screened video.

A credible information available to ghananewsreporters.com has it that former President John Dramani Mahama has confessed to having received the $8 million from Nyantakyi but did not know that it came from people with questionable dispositions.

‘’It would be the height of insincerity on my part to deny the fact that Kwesi Nyantakyi has given me monies totaling that figure being bandied around, but that money could not have come from the investors being mentioned here. Nyantakyi has helped the NDC in the past and that much I must admit, but it is not true that the money came from these investor friends of the GFA President!’’ former President John Mahama admitted reluctantly.

This admission makes nonsense of the denials from a wide section of the members of the opposition National Democratic Congress to the effect that Kwesi Nyantakyi never gave the NDC or John Mahama any money to help in their campaign.

Kofi Adamu Adams, the National Organizer of the NDC who also doubled as the 2016 campaign coordinator of the party has ferociously denied Mahama ever receiving any assistance in terms of money or logistics from Kwesi Nyantakyi. This admission cuts into shreds claims made by Kofi Adams and his team of NDC propagandists.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ TigerEyePI has advertised a two-hour video which captures football ‘’people’’ engaging in acts which appear to be corrupt. The documentary is seen by many Ghanaians as an event that will mark the watershed upon which Ghana football will be cleansed since many have had the cause to believe that our football is replete with massive corruption.
