Ghanaian artiste, Wanlov the Kubolor has released his version of Childish Gambino’s ‘This is America.’
This comes few days after his other half, M3nsa decline requests from fans to a Ghana version of the song.
A lot of musicians the world over have done their cover version of the song. Prominent among them is Falz, whose ‘This is Nigeria’ has generated a lot of conversations in Nigeria.
But M3nsa, the other half of the FOKN Bois said in a tweet that the group has always touched on issues plaguing the nation and that they would not sample the song.
In Wanlov’s song titled ‘Dis Be Ghana,’ he uses sarcasm to ridicule Ghana’s love for ‘copy and paste’ but hits on some critical issues of national concern.
