The controversial singer, Mzbel is incurring the wrath of Christians in the country and beyond for her recent remarks. Though this isn’t her first time to tow this line, her recent comment is highly despicable for those in the Christian faith to bear.
During an interview with Sammy Flex on ‘Showbiz Agenda‘ on Zylofon Fm, the sultry actress stated that she finds it silly on the part of those who speak in Tongues. “I think it’s silly to speak in tongues,” she said.
According to the ‘16 YEARs‘ hitmaker, those who speak in Tongues do that because they have been tasked to do so. She referenced a verse in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 14:2, to support her claims. Mzbel claimed that speaking in Tongues just means to speak other languages but not of anything with spiritual backing.
In addition to this, Mzbel reiterated that she doesn’t believe in the New Testament.
