Hiplife artiste and sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress, Mzbel claims to have enough money to last her for a lifetime.

According to her, although she is not very rich, the investments sh made from monies she got during her hay days can keep her going.

Mzbel who made this disclosure on Accra-based Hitz FM said “I am okay when it comes to money. I am not rich but okay and I don’t think I will ever go broke…”.

Mzbel, however, indicated that the age of social media has currently destroyed the business of entertainment because people no more buy CDs but download songs for free which does not earn the musician any money.

According to her, hitherto this period, all musicians did was record their songs and sit for the highest bidder to purchase it so they can get their money but now, the story is different because executive producers no more buy songs and artistes have to strive to get their music heard before they are able to get shows.

Mzbel indicated that she is not the only artiste affected by this because he colleagues are equally been challenged by the take over of social media.
