Actress Yvonne Nelson has expressed shock at the fact that most educated Africans are caged by colonialism.

According to her, the very people who should know better rather are caged by colonialism and that is a worrying feature for the people of Africa.

She noted that regardless of what is done, Africans can’t liberate the brain which is caged by colonialism will continue to be caged because although education is expected to liberate the brain, even the educated ones cannot let go of it.

She said “Something def wrong with the continent. I had this argument 3 months ago with @MysterGabby x @fdee50 its embarrassing! The most educated can’t even break free from colonialism. Colonialism caged the African brain. We just can’t let go!

Her comment on colonialism was in connection with the continuous wearing of wigs by judges and lawyers who need to develop something more African and do away with what she describes something colonial.
