News just indicates that the Ghana Police service has arrested dancehall act Shatta Wale known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah. The police has so far not given any details in relation to the arrest but definitely the cause of his arrest cannot be far fetched.
Barely twenty four hours ago, an acquaintance of the musician who was known simply as Nana Dope posted messages on his social media handles which purported that the musician had been shot by some unknown gunmen and had been taken to the hospital where he was battling for his life. The message threw the whole media space into a frenzy as many people wondered if the message was true.
To make matters worse, no one could be contacted to confirm or refute the claim.
It was later that, as suspected by many, the singer was just playing some gimmicks and justifying it by claiming the police did nothing when a religious leader predicted that he would be shot.
