The tech company has been faced by multiple backlashes from numerous whistleblower and multiple documents containing sensitive information about the company has been leaked to various online news publications. Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen really made Meta Inc think twice as they escaped the eye of the needle. The road to recovery seemed to be bleak for Mark Zuckerberg and the company he once knew as Facebook in 2005 has evolved into something that can change the minds of billion people.

The company did a name change back in 2005 when the founder Mark Zuckerberg changed the company from “The Facebook” to Facebook, 16 years later it is now called Meta. Some people are calling it Metaverse, confronts wide-ranging scrutiny of the real-world harms from its various platforms.

The company says it wants to build the Metaverse, the founder calls it a place where everyone plays and connects in 3D. Many people will start to connect with augmented and virtual reality gadgets. The name change has already helped the company immensely, stock share prices spiked since the announcement and the public have cautiously accepted the new reality. They face negative feedback, but only on a small scale which is normal, not everyone will accept change.
