“I’m Not Fit Enough to Play for Ghana at The Moment” – Ex-Udinese Star

Former Black Stars midfielder, Agyemang Badu says he is not fit enough to play for the home based senior national team, the Black Galaxies in the Championship for Africa Nations.

The 30-year-old joined local club, Great Olympics until the end of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season just to keep fit.

The former Berekum Arsenal and Asante Kotoko star says he is focused on his fitness level at the moment and to help the youngsters develop their confidence.

Talking about the Black Galaxies, they will face Nigeria on Saturday in the second leg of the Championship for Africa Nations qualifiers at the MKO Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Ghana has an advantage from the first leg after beating their rivals 2-0 with Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj scoring each at the Cape Coast Stadium in the first leg.

The winner of the tie will play in tournament which will be held in Algeria next year.
