Manchester United have reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview by stating that the club will investigate the issue and apply the appropriate sanctions if necessary.
However, the Manchester club are said to be in active discussions with agents and the Board about the potential sale or termination of contract of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo revealed in the interview that two of the topmost people at the club were trying to push him out of the club and did not believe him when he claimed that his daughter was sick as a reason for missing preseason.
Ronaldo has been linked with multiple clubs across Europe and America with Chelsea and Sporting Lisbon being a potential destination for the 5-time Balon D’or winner.
It is believed that he may have already played his last game for the Red Devils as the interview throws more dirt on the things that the club is trying to build over the last weeks.
